Notes - Martha Wilkens was born in her parents apartment located at 331 East 97 Street, New York City, New York. She was delivered into this world by Doctor Hoffmeister, a German doctor (General Practioner) who had his practice in the neighborhood. Later, he would move his practice out to Queens, still in the same general area where Martha's parents moved when they purchased their home.
Dr Hoffmeister would go on to be Martha's doctor as she grew up, and would later deliver her first three children - Ronald, Melinda, and Howard. Until Dr Hoffmeister retired, Martha would always try to bring her children to see Dr Hoffmeister for their medical care, even after Martha was living in the surburban town of Farmingdale.
