Yes, it’s Christmas time again. Another season of being jolly and having good will towards men. And being we’re in a post-patriarchy world, lets have good will towards women also. But we’re doing all of this goodwill in a Silent Night while Santa Claus flys through the skies.
So, I think it’s time for some Christmas Eve jamming music.
A Little Christmas Eve Jam
I’ve written about Trans-Siberian Orchestra (“TSO”) in previous posts. Lately I’ve been listening and relistening to their Christmas music because no other music this season inspires me. I’m still hooked on the beautiful piece “Christmas Canon Rock.” Their song “The Old City Bar” still resurrects strong memories of my Christmases past.
But among all the other TSO gems is the piece “Christmas Jam.” This piece first appeared on TSO’s fourth album “The Lost Christmas Eve,” released October 12, 2004. It’s a fun piece, with lots of energy as all the TSO music has.
Given all the events of this past year, both personal and current events, I think this Christmas Eve can use some energetic music. So I present to my many loyal readers a music clip of TSO’s “Christmas Jam” for this Christmas Eve.
Merry Christmas!
Here’s to wishing everyone a joyous Christmas celebration. Take a day off, enjoy this day as however your family traditions go. Take your time. Then come back, because nothing in this world will have changed while you were away.
